Greg passed a card for members to sign as condolence to Barbara at the passing of her mother. Please keep Barbara and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
Laura welcomed Monica Minkel as our newest member. Happy to have you onboard, Monica!
Reno reported on his PETS experience a few weeks ago. He gained some ideas on leadership, and fundraising which he would like to incorporate in our club.
Reno also proposed that we link the club's web address to ClubRunner in order to tie email, club news, and other communications together, creating a more seamless web environment for members and visitors. Members voted to approve.
Callie reports that the Epic Day of Service is set: We are performing a clean up of the Sand Creek Greenway. Please see her email detailing the event, view the map, sign the waiver and order your t-shirt. Please do it today!
We also discussed a gift to Sand Creek. There are two possible gifts at this time: a bench or a bike rack, both at the site. The bike rack is the less expensive option at $1,800 total. To this point we have given an open gift to the organization of $800 so we would fund an additional $1,000.
Greg reminds us, if we haven't already, to please make a gift to the Rotary Foundation before the end of the Rotary year, June 30. Our club can meet the 100% giving goal to help us earn the Presidential Citation for 24/25.

Debbie Setlock and Jolene McKenna visited us today to discuss District 5450's membership initiative, based on the book "Conversations Worth Having", as regards the changing landscape that Rotary and other service organizations face in 2025. They emphasized that club growth requires an affirmative and positive focus: "not what's broken but what gives life to a club." Setting and meeting club goals can foster membership. Growing clubs have meaningful projects, strong leadership, and enjoy a connection to the communities they serve. Find out more at rotary5450.org.
