Steve reports that Hailey Day is preparing to work with us on a Fruit Sale webpage so we can conduct ordering from a link distributed to prospective customers. She is waiting for us to set up our Stripe account. Bill and Steve will coordinate.
The Epic Day of Service is coming up on Saturday the 16th, 12-4 pm at North Middle School, 12095 East Montview Boulevard in Aurora. Callie sent a link via email. Please sign up to volunteer/donate/share link if you plan to participate.
Callie also reminds us of the blood drive on Tuesday from 10-1 pm at Stanley Marketplace in the Vitalant Bloodmobile. She sent a QR code to us via email. Sign up today if you haven't and are interested in helping.
Laura floated dates for the induction dinner. Jun 16 or Jun 30 were considered with a preference for the 16th. A likely location is Lance and Lucy's backyard. Details to come!
Rita and Otis are asking if any member would be willing and able to host an Australian exchange student this summer, into the Fall? Let either of them know if so.

Estate Planning Update
Tom came today to talk to us about the latest rules and steps for successful estate planning
Tom says that even though probate is relatively simple in Colorado, he recommends that we have a professionally drawn will; witnessed and filed with an attorney. He also discussed Power of Attorney and using it the the case of children leaving the home for college. It could help parents circumvent medical privacy laws in order to help an injured or ill child.
Tom covered medical power of attorney and living wills too.
Some other things to think about:
Will or trust, Personal Property memos, Real Estate & joint tenancy. Tom also explained probate in Colorado, testate (have will) & intestate (no will).
