Reno presided and discussed the speakers list that the District keeps on their website. He also reminded members to use and keep fresh our Google speaker calendar.
Monica & Nick continue to proceed with our club involvement creating an Interact club. We already have young members willing to pioneer the effort with us. Funding requirements need to be explored.
Bill reports that our latest Kroger cash back to the club is $42.36. If you are not participating, you can download the Kroger/King Soopers app and join.
Steve recapped the 2026 Fruit Sale. All customers have paid in full. Thanks to all who participated in selling, and helping to distribute orders.
Reno recently attended a District president's meeting. He noted that our attendance rate is among the best in the District. He also announced the our club has been honored with the prestigious Rotary International Club Excellence Award, the most significant recognition in the Rotary world.
There was discussion about the progress toward starting a companion club with Everleigh. Laura is sending contact information to Reno and Steve for email follow up and club bulletins and other correspondence.
Callie discussed upcoming community service project opportunities, including volunteering at the Food Bank on Aug 25, with a happy hour following. Stay tuned.
