Bill reviewed Return on Rotary with us. This Rotary year we have contributed $8,040 and given 134.75 in volunteer hours. We have $3,467 in the admin account, $5,691 in the foundation, and $15,500 in special projects. He also reminded us that we should have received his email comparing Actual to Budget for the first 2 quarters of this Rotary year.
Membership dues statements are out, so please make your payment. Also, if you're inclined, make a donation to the Rotary Foundation today either by check to Bill or go to the RI website and pay online.
Laura and Reno plan to followup with our recent guests including Anisa with the Bahini Project. There was discussion about reaching out to former members - possibly in the context of the 40th anniversary of the club.
Greg announced that Laura has agreed to be President Elect, and Reno has agreed to be her PE. Selecting a date and place for the induction dinner is in the works.
Bill has been in contact with Anne Van Etten and she will join us a the next meeting.
Lance and Callie report that they are considering a site near Erie and a possible participation with an area club there. Our goal is to make the greenhouse a year 'round, energy sustainable project using geo thermal and solar.
Callie outlined some volunteering opportunities for the club and suggest that we formalize a schedule: Judi's House, The Food Bank, Denver Rescue Mission.
